First Corncrake of the season!
The first Corncrake heard calling this year in Orkney was heard in one of our fields on a unit nearby Brecks! Though we have a couple of fields managed to encourage Corncrakes, he has actually taken up residence in another field that is managed for waders!
Owls
The Owls have been enjoying the recent fine spell of weather often being seen hunting in the field next to the Barn.
