Brecks offers two separate 4 star South Ronaldsay self catering units in Orkney, the Barn and the Byre (pets welcome!).  Each have been finished to the highest of standards with the Barn offering accommodation sleeping up to six people and the Byre sleeping two people.

Situated 250 metres back from the public road in the heart of our fertile farmland on the beautiful Island of South Ronaldsay, Brecks offers peace and tranquillity in wonderful surroundings.

With Orkney as a backdrop it is only fitting that as part of our ongoing tree planting project we will be helping to off-set the carbon emitted both getting to and staying here at Brecks. We will be doing this by planting a quantity of trees each year proportionate to the amount of visitors having stayed in our accommodation.

Connected to the Mainland of Orkney via the Churchill Barriers you will find lots of activities close to home on South Ronaldsay and further afield across the Barriers.

Outwith the accommodation, guests are welcome to take a stroll through our newly planted areas of woodland.
